About CommonWorks

CommonWorks is a Colorado not-for-profit that was incorported in July 1995.  The original name of the organization was Alternative Opportunities Colorado.  The various divisions of CommonWorks serve both adults with developmental disabilities, and at-risk youth and families. 

On January 1, 2007, CommonWorks started an affiliation with another child placement agency, WhimSpire (www.whimspire.com), to share resources.
